Life is full of love and celebration. Based in Matlock, Derbyshire, near Chesterfield, Bakewell and Mansfield, my role as a Celebrant is about creating an individual and personal service for your event. It may be the joy of welcoming of a new child into the world or into a new family, joining a loving couple for a life together, or the sad farewell of a loved one and a celebration of their life. I am here to guide you through the process and to create a ceremony as individual as you are.
So, you have a big life event coming up, and you're looking for someone to help you navigate the journey?
From our initial contact, we will set up a meeting to talk about your thoughts and possible plans for your ceremony. You may know exactly what you want or you may have no idea where to start. Don't worry, we will work through everything together and by the end of our time together, you will feel more confident moving forward.
I will then liaise with any other suppliers and professionals and will begin creating a ceremony or service that is authentic and personal to you.
Throughout the process, you can contact me, and when it is time for the ceremony or service, I will be there to support, guide and lead you through it.
I am your background crew and I will ensure that everything goes smoothly.

Weddings and commitments
Big celebrations, intimate gatherings, traditional weddings or something a little out of the ordinary. I love working with couples who want a ceremony that reflects who they are, wherever and however they choose to celebrate.
I'll bring the ideas, experience and support, and together we'll create a ceremony that feels natural, relaxed and full of personality. No awkward formalities or expectations to live up to. Just a really good ceremony, with you at the heart of it.
Funerals and memorials
Traditional, contemporary, informal or a little unconventional. There's no single way to say goodbye, and no set formula for remembering a life.
I'll take the time to listen, understand the person you're remembering and what matters most to you. Together, we'll create a funeral or memorial that feels genuine, thoughtful and personal, with room for memories, laughter, tears and everything in between.
I'll be there to offer ideas, guidance and reassurance throughout, helping you feel supported and confident in the choices you make.

Not every occasion fits neatly into a category, and that's absolutely fine. From naming ceremonies and vow renewals to celebrations, milestones and ideas that are a little more unusual, I'm always happy to explore what's possible.
